There are 85 self help groups having approximately 1000 members who are actively functioning in their group as well as supporting the community members, majority of the Self-Help groups are women’s groups which is an indicator of the up liftment  and empowerment of women. These SHG’s are the flat form for discussion on various socio-economic and livelihood problems by the group members. As a  result of Training and awareness building , during the Panchayat elections some of the SHG members contest elections and some are few got elected as Surpaches and Panches.
